Jenelle Prefontaine is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner seeing patients in Wellington, Florida. She joined the Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches Primary Care team in January of 2024 after completing her Nurse Practitioner training at the University of Miami. Jenelle began her nursing career after achieving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida. Prior to returning to school, Jenelle spent 3 years working in an intensive care unit in Palm Beach County.
Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jenelle spent most of her childhood along the Gulf Coast of Florida. When not working, Jenelle enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her dog Bear.
