Gigi was born in Lima, Peru. She moved to south Florida in 1989 and attended Palm Beach State College, where she pursued her Associate degree in Nursing and an EMT certification. She successfully completed both degrees by 2005. Gigi began her career as a nurse at Bethesda Memorial Hospital and went on to complete her nurse practitioner program at FAU in 2009. With over 10 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, she recently joined the MSPB team in 2022 to work with MSPB Neurology. In her free time, Gigi enjoys spending time with her family, selling her baked goods online, and running for exercise. She is fluent in both Spanish and English.
