Erica is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with MSPB Primary Care. She is a family nurse practitioner at MSPB Internal Medicine, focusing on assessment of patient needs, diagnosing illness and disease, prescribing medicine, formulating treatment plans, and ordering and analyzing laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Erica was born in Dayton, Ohio and grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida and NC. Before going into medicine, Erica was studying to become an electrical engineer. An interesting turn of events occurred, and she decided to then become a nurse practitioner. She decided to attend the University of Mt. Olive in NC where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Then she moved to Kentucky and attended the Frontier Nursing University to attain her nurse practitioner’s license. After she graduated, she worked as a nurse in cardiac transplant at Duke University for 8 years. She then decided to move down to South Florida and joined the team at MSPB with Internal Medicine physicians, Dr. Peter Schwartz and Dr. Razan Alif in Wellington, Fl.

Outside of her internal medicine practice, Erica enjoys scuba diving, paddle boarding, traveling, and spending time with her kids.
